Miso Cedar Planked Black Cod
Serves 2, 4.5 Hours
Ingredients:
Marinade: 1 tbsp white miso paste + 2 tsp soy sauce + 1 tsp minced ginger + 2 tbsp mirin
2x 6oz fillets of black cod
Zest of 1 lime
1 untreated cedar plank
Directions:
1. Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl and mix until thoroughly combined. Add black cod fillets, cover and marinade in refrigerator for 4 hours.
2. Soak cedar plank 30 minutes prior to cooking.
3. Preheat oven to 450F. Remove black cod from refrigerator when oven is preheating.
4. Place marinated fillets on soaked cedar planks, skin-side down, and sprinkle lime zest on top.
5. Bake for 10-14 minutes.
6. Serve and enjoy!
