Maple Soya Salmon Recipe


Ingredients:

125ml maple syrup
125ml low sodium soya sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 tbsp lime zest
2 tbsp sesame seeds
pepper
1lb salmon
Serves 2 to 3 people

Directions:

  1. Combine maple syrup, soya sauce garlic, ginger, lime zest and pepper in tupperware container. Place salmon flesh side down in the marinade, cover and place in fridge for 1 hour.
  2. Remove salmon from marinade and place in slightly oiled pan and sprinkle sesame seeds over the salmon. Place salmon in pre-heated oven at 375° F for 12-14 minutes
  3. Take marinade and bring to a boil in a pan, reduce heat and simmer until it reaches the consistency of a glaze.
  4. Remove salmon and plate. Pour glaze over salmon and enjoy!
